No one knows customer needs better than the customers themselves— and no one is more interested in serving customers than ExxonMobil. That’s why we formed our Customer Advisory Council. The Council's mission is to provide and ensure customer-driven solutions to customer needs. Council members also network to bring global best practices back to their respective businesses.
The Council consists of 10 to 12 decision makers in positions as varied as maintenance management, purchasing, and engineering from a broad cross section of industries. The group meets one to two times a year to evaluate the development and delivery of Mobil lubrication products and services, and ask questions and give feedback on behalf of all industrial sectors. In addition, they interact directly with ExxonMobil management as well as field personnel, marketers, trainers, technicians, distributors, and other partners.
Group members also exchange information about generic best practices through site tours and keynote speakers provided by the member organizations, as well as team sharing sessions. The Mobil Customer Advisory Council is our way of keeping our customers’ needs in focus — while helping some of our most valued customers learn from one another.
